Rimini's Palacongressi is the biggest convention centre in Italy. Built in 1986, the centre can host up to 6,000 people in the Auditorium, which can be divided into five smaller halls thanks to its electrically-controlled sliding walls. The Palacongressi also has multi-purpose areas and numerous meeting halls with mobile and fixed furnishings, tiered seating units, and state-of-the-art technology. In addition, the centre has 27, 500 sq. m of exhibition areas, and it also contains foyers, bars and restaurants, travel agencies, a bank, a car hire, and all other necessary services. HOW TO REACH PALACONGRESSI Rimini is provided with six railway stations (Rimini, Rimini Fiera, Rimini Miramare, Rimini Rivazzurra, Rimini Viserba and Rimini Torre Pedrera). Rimini has a modern and efficient urban transport network, run with minibuses, the latest generation of coaches and fast, eco-friendly vehicles. The Palacongressi is linked to the town centre by lines 7 and 17; lines 18 and 19 link it to the hotels situated on the seaside promenade.
