The aim of IMAPS is to bring to Rimini, one of the most renown bathing resort towns in Italy, the best of Microelectronics and Packaging world, thus offering a top quality coverage of technological innovation related to microelectronic packaging and interconnection technologies. The Conference and Exhibition will be held from 15th to 18th June 2009 at Palacongressi in Rimini. It will be complemented by Advanced Professional Courses and by poster session.

EMPC 2009 is one of the most important symposiums related to the microelectronics packaging industry in the world. It will feature a powerful technical program, a state-of-the-art exposition, progressive professional development courses, and many other events and activities to share the latest developments in microelectronics. It will attract hundreds of attendees who represent all facets of the microelectronics and electronic packaging industries. These include: engineers, technicians, R&D, purchasing, manufacturing, management, and many more. They represent the automotive, communications, medical, aerospace, computer, defence, homeland security and consumer industries.

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

Booth Rental

Exhibition space is available for rental in multiple of basic units of 3x3 mt.
The rental fee is set in EURO 2.600,00 per basic unit plus the applicable VAT (at present 20%).
VAT is reclaimable by foreign exhibitors registered in their Country.
A special reduced price of 10%is offered to those exhibitors that will enter the rental agreement by January 31st 2009

EXHIBITION BENEFITS AT EMPC 2009

The rental fee of a basic unit does include:

• The EMPC 2009 post-show attendee list
  
• One Symposium Registration at a reduced fee
  
• Web Listing: Your company name, information and · links to your company’s web site
  
• A show logo that you can place on your web site to promote your presence at the shows.
  
• Admission to the Welcome Reception
  
• Daily cleaning
  
• Night watchman service
  
• 50 guests invitation tickets to the exhibition

Booth Construction (available for rent at a rate of € 750,00 per booth) includes:

• Wall partition
• Carpeting
  
• 1 Signboard, inclusive of exhibitor’s name in standard letters
  
• 1 Electricity outlet (1kw)
  
• 1 table
  
• 2 chairs
  
• 1 spotlight

PAYMENT TERMS

A 50% deposit is due with the booth application upon receipt of the first invoice (at the acceptance of the booking form)
The balance is due by May, 31st , 2009 (against the second invoice)
All payments must be made net of any bank cost, in EURO only, by bank transfer to: TBA

INSURANCE

A mandatory general liability insurance will be requested to all Exhibitors.

ALLOCATION OF BOOTHS

Booth allocation priority is established by a chronological order of receipt of payment of the rental fee.
Only Exhibitors having entered the rental agreement by January, 31st 2009 will have the possibility to indicate their choice for booth position, following the priority scheme of chronological order.
In all allocation matters, the organiser’s decision is final. The exhibition host might relocate stands/companies for practical reasons.

EXHIBITORS LIST

The Exhibitors names and products will be included free of charge in the Technical Programme of the Conference which will be distributed to all conference participants, provided that all the necessary information are supplied by the Exhibitor in due time following the instructions given by the Organiser.

CANCELLATION

Request for cancellation of exhibition space must be sent by registered mail to the Organiser.
The refund policy is:
50% refund for cancellations received by March 15th, 2009.
Non refund for cancellations received after March 15th, 2009.
